Members of Clerkenwell Fire Station's Green Watch observe a minutes silence for their fellow firefighters who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York, Sept. 11, 2011 in London, England. Ceremonies held around the world have joined Washington and New York as they commemorate the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks where nearly 3,000 people died when four hijacked airliners were used in coordinated attacks against targets in the United States.
