Remember that exercise I set you just a few days ago, for getting to know your camera and depth of field, well I've attached a link to 'taking better photographs' which you may find helpful and I'll hunt up a depth of field, post for you and give you the link to that asap. (there's a couple of posts, at least, on that one.
