Thanks for reposting the bit about color. As you know, I LOVE B&W but, it's a color world! That was driven home to me a few years ago as my son and I were discussing "The Longest Day" after he saw it for the first time. His comment, "It was a good movie even if it was black and white." KIDS!!!!!

Sometimes, I think people are overwhelmed by to color of a photograph. To really judge a good photo, I try to imagine it as monochromatic and see what REALLY comes out!

Really good informative comment, James, and your thoughts on the back and white/colour thing are really interesting.

I guess there's a different slant on everything when you think about it.

And the more points of view the better your understanding becomes so thanks very much for your contribution.
