A look at alternative energy production at the Solucar solar thermal power plant near Seville, Spain.
A general view shows the solar park at Sanlucar La Mayor, near Seville, May 16, 2007. The first of two solar thermal power plants uses mirrors to concentrate the sun's rays onto the top of a 100 metre (300 foot) tower where it produces steam to drive a turbine.

Why then are governments of the world wasting money on, for instance kissing royal Saudi ass, or worrying about that nut Chavez? I believe that the estimated cost for the solar cells was a paltry $2 trillion dollars. Why Obama is going to waste that in two years trying to turn the US Marxist.
Sometimes its not so much that they take our money, it's that they do the stupidest things imaginable with that money. Imagine if people like Obama really believed in all that Global Warming/Climate change crap....
