The weather and photography.

Weather changes give terrific scope for photography, and if it's a still day and you're photographing a still object that could be a good chance for those who want to choose to use and experiment with some manual settings and there's scope for filters here too.
Your photography will not advance unless you take lots of photos and seize opportunities.
Paths through parks in a central area where people need to walk to get from one place to another provide great scope with respect to rain and umbrellas.
I once saw a great shot where coincidentally all those little figures scurrying along were all carrying and hidden by red umbrellas, opportunity knocks but once, I did not have a camera with me.
On another occasion I was on the Harbour on a very grey day and on the horizon was one lone golden yellow in full bloom spinnaker. I still have that image firmly implanted in my mind and I'm sure I'll carry it with me 'til the day I die. Once again, no camera.
I have included here one photo of spinnakers on a grey day. It is not a photo that I'd collect but it does illustrate what those bright patches of colour can do when set into a grey background. It no way compares with the image I have in my mind. But you have to start somewhere and it may well appeal to you. It will set you thinking more about your snaps and that is great in itself.
Beware the wind, if you're wanting to take some nice flowers/trees etc, you're very likely to produce things that look like camera shake, 99% of which will have no appeal at all. That is a cold fact of life.
With advanced skills you could do something special with those circumstances but I doubt whether I have too many here who are at that level.
Enjoy these images and release a little more your creative talents. You will learn as you go of that I am quite sure.
Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
