Famed and fugitive director Roman Polanski, was arrested in Zurich after U.S. authorities sought to have him extradited to face sentencing for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977

Polanski fled the United States for France in 1978 when he faced a a prison sentence for having sex with a 13-year-old girl.
