Family snaps, what many of us want.
November 27th 2007 04:05
Good camera! Let's hope he's up to the task.
I think what most of us would like to be able to do is capture those snaps of family, pets and special occasions, reliably.
I thought I'd just give you a few family pictures with some modest comments as many really just want to produce a moderate image of reasonable standard and never anticipate becoming involved in the commercial world or having any of their photos in a public exhibition.
However, within the family, it can be hard to get anyone to take as much interest in your photos as you do and a few improved skills might well help you to engage their interest.
What many will be looking for is capturing things happening in their own places not the place next door by accident. It is also good to be able to focus on faces and avoid red eye.
There are cameras available now that can help you avoid errors due to the last two problems and at low cost and for anyone hesitant about their first or a better purchase at low cost, cameras are well and truly there when it comes to tackling those particular problems and I'll demonstrate what you need to ask for when making that purchase and how much it is likely to cost you in the next post.
So now we'll continue with out family snaps to give you some ideas for your own.
Red eye is just what you DO NOT want.
Now we do want to include the animals and these are really cute but I think we'd all be in agreement that we'd be happy with a much better photo, so if your pics are like that pay a lot of attention to photographytips.
This is not a bad photo and think what fun it will be in the year's ahead when your shy little girl turns into the town's flirt - it does happen.
This is a great photo, it is someone's family and is a record of the past, don't forget your pics will have their place in history.
It tells a story, doesn't it ? and forms part of the family history.
This one is beautifull isn't it? Capture them before they go.
