Tigers eye chicken

Siberian tigers try to catch a chicken at the Hengdaohezi Siberian Tiger Zoo in Hailin, Heilongjiang province, July 15, 2008. According to the zoo, it is the world's largest breeding centre for Siberian tigers.

Is this what they give the tigers for exercise? Glad it's not me.

There are some sad photos, to-day, some of hope, some rare indeed, some indescribably difficult to perceive, a thoughtful Bush, a captured Obama, soldiers who grieve, protesters and voters, some brilliant displays in red, some doubtful art, an unlucky boy, a Lockheed Martin, lots of sport, charity and goodwill, barriers and chains, and suport to and from the people, not so brilliant as yesterday's shots but none the less significant.

Appreciate the photographs and for those who wish to improve their photography, keep your eyes open and examine and learn.
