Photography of unusual events and specific locations.

This second one is an action shot, you have to be there, you have to be set up, you need to be well positioned and you need to be quick, and you need to be skilled. Is there anything I have left out.
A rare event and it's in Australia from CNN
And from Gull Island Alaska: Alaska from Nat Geo
Here's what they say about this one.
Gull Island, off of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, is a refuge for hundreds of seagulls. One of Alaska's most heavily trafficked areas, the Kenai Peninsula abounds with postcard views—snowcapped mountains, rivers that roil with spawning salmon, an abundant supply of moose, bears, eagles, and puffins, four active volcanoes, and a gigantic, otherworldly icescape, Harding Icefield.

Now, here's what I have to say. Undoubtedly good photographs but it is not just the expertise of the photographer that is important here, with Cnn it is the pictorial image of history in the making and the significance of the white lions, so do consider these things when you are out on your photographic journey.
I do hope you have gained from these images as well as appreciating their significance, I just love those lions, just great bit pussy cats, don't you think?

Flashes of memories
It`s always amazing what comes out of the camera at the end of a photo session.
Mother Nature never fails to put on a good show either.
