What do you want to achieve with your photography? and your art?

This first image is one of the innocence of childhood, of a secret captured and no willingness to share. But you know the secret this innocent has and she puts her fingers to her lips urging you to secrecy and to silence.
The gentle greys of the black and white 'still' emphasise its simplicity and I doubt that there would be many who would not be captivated and captured by this art of photography.
Everyone loves a wedding and the bride and groom want a pictorial presentation of the event. The two rings here, created by computer programs adds an extra dimension to what is a very lovely photograph, the intertwining of the rings suggesting the closeness of the bond and fingers of one held within the gentle grasp of the other. Look at the image and try to capture it without the rings, and note that the rings are high, a celestial effect.
Without them, it is just a photographic record no matter how beautiful the Church and that is certainly a feature but it is the rings that provide that special bond, that ethereal moment of time lost in space but pictured in art.
Now this, to me, is the best photo of all. Note the repetition of fine vertical lines within the structure and in its surrounds, note the small red structure that becomes a feature of the photo and the irony of looking out to sea but not wanting to be wet by the spray thus denying whoever sits there the total experience, in favour of a dry one.
Seats on their own provide a lot of atmosphere, as shown by the next very simple image but one which someone has decided to capture. I've captured seats in such settings, think about what that suggests to you at a conscious and subconscious level.
Everyone loves their animals and this dog sits at the window and looks outside. no-one would deny how endearing such a shot is, but what is going on in the dog's mind?
This sheer wall of colourful rock is art in itself and the photographers skill lies in seeing it, capturing it and presenting it to its best advantage. He has done well.
we all recognise the love of man for his own kind but the love of animals for animals. This is a very real art and I could look at this image for hours, if but scarce microcosms of time.
And the simplicity of this one tiny bird is something we all can capture but keep learning and trying in your photographic journey. It will expand your mind, your emotions and your experiences.
Just do it, with feeling.
