7. quite graphic - think about it

8. we see all too many of these

9. good idea, unusual, but the water just doesn't come across and the birds are not quite right - could be better but at least it's different

10. Bad, just doesn't make it

11. well I guess.....

12. the cow far outweighs the child, it's 'cow heavy'

13. one of many

14. a good, well planned photograph, good use of the rules of photography

15. one of many

16. one of so many the same

17. touching???? - too intimate for me - in this time and place - it's the public image that is important

18. without the speakers in the way it would be good, he looks strangled

This is going to sound terrible so I apologise in advance; because it's a picture of a covered Muslim woman, I auotmotically assumed it was related to human rights abuse.

However, knowing its context made me think it showed devotion.

I think it is related to human rights abuse, irrespective of its context, and I didn't find what you said offensive at all, I chose to feature that photo over others to show just how awful these things are, women throughout the world are still treated badly in comparison to men.

I read a book recently about Afghanistan and it really brought it home to me, but I always feel this way anyway, even in the western countries we see it quite regularly, if not this extreme abuse then some other.

It's good to have your views, I was surprised how little response there was to this from Orble, I thought many would rush to condemn this apparel.
