Night flight for solar plane
July 8th 2010 22:18
A solar-powered plane designed to fly round the clock passed a crucial test as it completed its first night flight.
Solar Impulse's Chief Executive Officer and pilot Andre Borschberg prepares the landing of the solar-powered HB-SIA prototype airplane after its first successful night flight attempt at Payerne airport July 8, 2010.
