Marine Photography!

I just love sailing ships and I love the grey ones, no black and white photography needed the colours are REAL, right there in front of you. That's why I have chosen this one. I have done a lot of harbour photography and to get a good image, as opposed to just a photograph, is quite difficult but even just a photo of a good subject can be great.
From CNN comes the next one, something to do with politics, I think. And one so young, amazing.
The blue and white and black and skin and the positioning does this for me today and the subject matter, absolutely, of course.

National Geographic have changed the way they do things, I do hope they go back to the old way and give us the usual pic of the day.
To-day's photo is amazing and informative and colourful and fancy being able to see right inside an animal (in this case a fish) as they move, work, rest and play, and mostly, eat.
It is the educational value that makes this photo special and of course it is very unusual.

Here's what they have to say.
This larval flounder swims with other fish for now, hidden from predators by transparency (the color is an effect of lighting). It will soon be a bottom dweller that shimmies into the sand, gazing upward. Eyes start out one on each side; as the skull develops, one migrates to join the other.

Have a good look at these and see what you can learn.
