Scenes from the 38th parallel of the Korean Peninsula
A U.S. soldier and South Korean soldiers stand guard on the foot of the "Bridge of No Return" at the truce village of Panmunjom, in the demilitarised zone separating the two Koreas, north of Seoul, July 18, 2007.
Good use of colour contrast in the uniforms, symmetry in the posts, juxtapositon and background framing from the trees - cool photo!
! - she's famous, 3 -rule of thirds, colour harmony, symmetry and line, good geometry, layers and framing - 4 layers, convergence and so much more, 5 - isolation, starkness, symmetry, juxtaposition rule of thirds 6 - juxtaposition and expression, 7 an unusual setting that draws the eye - captions are important too, 12 - you can see and feel them marching and there's divergence, too, and 13 - juxtaposition, 15 - colours, harmony, symmetry, 16 stairs always do it for me - there's always so much scope, and ....and don't think the others don't deserve a mention - this is a great collection - but by now you're getting the picture!
