Hope you liked this, even if you never use it, these things are good to know. Good point. This reminds me of where you see a concert, sporting event, or what have you and see a thousand flash bulbs going off and people think they're getting the shot from a little flash that goes out 8-12 feet!

One thing I like about knowing stuff is picking pros apart! *LOL* I think ANY discussion of flash power has to mention that the distance of a flash depends on the ISO rating. (or ASA if you're old like me!)

You gave me something of a chuckle there, James, and I'm young, of course, , but it's really good of you to put some input into the discussion. Point well taken. I think many do not realize the limitations of their flashes.
