Gallery: Landscape Photo Tips - National Geographic

I'm sorry but the space for images has run out but do use the link to take you to this photo no. 3 and the others, it will do wonders for your photography skills, it's filled with some marvellous landscapes and some great advice.




A lone plant juts defiantly from the arid sand of a dune in this evocative image. The gentle sweep of the dune bisects the frame and the energy of the plant is reinforced by its stalks thrusting skyward. Notice how the photographer used the "rule of thirds" in placing both the plant and the moon.
