June 25th 2010 19:43

Korea war 60 years

South Koreans and veterans mark the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.

Ju Hong-jang (L), 81, and his wife Yoon Bok-hee, 73, leave after they visited a gravestone of his father Ju Bong-gyeom, a police officer who died in 1952 during the Korean War, at the National Cemetery in Seoul June 23, 2010. Ju's father took part in a bloody suppression operation to clear anti-government protesters and communists on Jeju island.
