Komomo, a geiko (geisha), looks at herself in the mirror at home while a dresser, known as "Kichi", helps her get ready to go to evening appointments in the Miyagawa district of Kyoto, Japan April 11, 2008. "It's a bit like a war," says Komomo, a geisha in Japan's ancient capital, describing how she dresses for work.
