The Pygmy Tarsier is one of Earth's smallest, and rarest, primates. The species was thought to be extinct until 2008, when a team of scientists found the furry creatures on an island in Indonesia.


Probably too rare to ever make a good pet, let's just hope these itty bitty tree-climbers can stick around and make it to next year's cute animal list.
