While individuals vary, we're all more likely to suffer driving impairments--decreased vision, hearing loss and loss of flexibility (for example, the ability to turn your neck to see the car in your blind spot)--as we pass 85 years of age. Only teenagers have a higher accident rate than seniors in this age group. Have a conversation with your parent before he or she turns 85.
