A pilot dips the basket of his hot-air balloon in the Androscoggin River in front of a couple in a canoe during the Great Falls Balloon Festival, Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, in Lewiston, Maine. More than 20 balloons launched at sunrise to kick off the three-day event.
