For James the Angler - the one that got away!

Mena, a zebra shark, passes by a diver in the Red Sea Aquarium at the Virginia Aquarium in Virginia Beach, Va. on Oct. 25, 2011. Zebra sharks are listed as a vulnerable species, and Mena will stay at the Virginia Aquarium for several years until she is bigger. She is currently five feet long and weighs 37 pounds.

Believe it or not, I used to have a couple of friends who volunteered at the Aquarium and their responsibility was to clean the shark cage. I wondered how they could get in there with tigers, reef sharks, and a couple nurse sharks, but they said it was "fairly" safe if you went in right after feeding time!

Yes, humans would be less attractive as food when the shark's tummy has been filled elsewhere. I touched a nerve there didn't I, unexpectedly, just goes to show it's a small world.
