Discovery launches from the Kennedy Space Center.


NASA's space shuttle "Discovery" launches beyond the Rocket Garden at the Kennedy Space Center's Visitors Center seconds after 6:21 AM on April 5, 2010. Discovery, on Mission STS 131, is carrying a crew of seven and over 10,000 pounds of supplies and science gear to the International Space Station. UPI/Joe Marino-Bill Cantrell
