So you want a good photo and all your friends suggest Canon. You like Canon so what can Canon offer you? a lot it seems at a safe $200 reputed to be worh more like $450, sounds pretty good but don't expect the world for such a song.
The Canon PowerShot A550 has design features reminiscent of past models but easier to use. It has automatic modes and basic features meant to attract first-timers and shooters moving up from the most primitive of entry-level models.
The 7.1-megapixel digital camera has a 2-inch LCD screen and 4x optical zoom lens.
It retails for $199.

well you'll be set and ready to go, but if you want to becoming a REAL photographer, you'll need to move up before long, but maybe you'll just settle for well composed snapshots.
Try before you buy, it has to feel good at any price.
