Canon G7 Digital Camera - I know Canon has many fans and this one seems easy to use.

What makes this one so special?
1. It feels good in the hands
2. It has new technology which gives a quicker start up time, better auto-focus and shutter reactions, improved image quality, less use of battery that corresponds to a superior battery life and last but not least, noise reduction.
3. It has optical zoom
4. Image stabilization
5. Canon included an extra mode to take photos on the sea, pool, river (psst - you'll need the waterproof case for this one.)
6. It supports a number of cards and has some extra features.
7. Look for a price range about $600 and it's all easy as she goes.
For those wanting to use superior camera skills, you'll need to go upmarket.
