Animals around the world
April 6th 2010 20:06
A selection of our recent pictures from the animal kingdom.
Baby male Asian Elephant 'Pathi Harn' plays in the mud at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, in this March 31, 2010 handout photo. Mother elephant Porntip gave birth to the calf at Sydney's main zoo on March 10, surprising vets and keepers who on March 8 declared the baby had died in the womb.
Everyone loves these wonderful animal photos so it's a good thing to learn how to do, but you need to be quick and have your cameras ready and to be so well versed in the rules of photography that your skills can be best displayed as you use your camera proficiently, and what you need in the way of skill becomes automatic.
The link will take you to this delightful show, and the twin bears have it, after this cute little one who defied all the odds to survive.
Maybe there is something to be learned from that, I'd hate to think our unborn would be pronounced dead and not be given the chance to surprise us.
