Exhibit Awards, Feature Picture Story, New York Press Photographers Association Year in Pictures The crew of the commercial salmon seining vessel F/V Renaissance can be seen hauling in their seine net off the island of Kodiak, Alaska August 3, 2008.
You'll need a lot of patience to plough through this lot, but there are some notable pictures there, in amongst some not so notable, the good thing is you can take your time and come back to sort out which you think are the best.
For me there is certainly more than one best, but the one I have featured just appeals to me, and of course it really is a good photograph
There are some exceptional portraits there if you just look for them
