Photographing your pets.

Now that's a good photograph, the distinguishing features of the dog are captured, and he has a lovely expression and it's well set in the photo, and there's a good section of him chosen which allows the close up.
This cockatiel has lovely colouring and comb, it is clear and close but personally I find it a little unimaginative and the rule of thirds could perhaps be better applied, and I also find the black background rather severe, but given that birds do not sit still or pose on cue, it's rather a good effort.
This one is a cuty and it's a natural shot, congrats to the photographer
Here's another natural, set amongst the leaves, it gives it a natural touch
A chook and her chicks and a hessian bag, well done for the degree of difficulty.
Not a bad effort , the yellow of the duck contrasts with those in the background, but a bit cluttered, but, hey, we haven't all got all day.
Up close and personal , a good zoom would have helped.
Must that dog play hide and seek, it tells a good story and one it's owner will always remember.
This one is taken by a professional, notice how the dog is not photographed front on.
Togetherness is great with these exotic creatures but a degree of separation when it comes to a photo would have been MUCH better
A great little tortoise but on the dark side, some extra lighting would have helped.
A really good one of pussy, well placed on the cushion, a good photo
Eek, we just had to have one, a close up would have been better to show off those markings, but persoanlly I wouldn't, perhaps a really good zoom so the photo could be taken from a distance.
How are the snaps of your pets coming along? Do tell!
